Police are asking for the public's help to find the driver who fatally struck a pedestrian in Dallas' Cedar Crest neighborhood early Tuesday morning.
The incident happened at about 1:37 a.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of S. Denley Drive, Dallas police said.
Police said a person was on the sidewalk when a Black 2017 or 2018 Hyundai struck them. The driver of the Hyundai did not stop to render aid, police said.
The person who was hit died from their injuries.
Police said the Hyundai is missing its front grill.
