Dallas police are looking for the driver who ran from a hit-and-run scene in South Oak Cliff last week.
On the evening of October 13th, police say there was a serious crash between a pick-up truck and a car in the intersection of East Kiest and South Marsalis.
The driver of the truck who caused the crash bailed out and ran for it, but left his heavily damaged vehicle behind. Police say the suspect left behind a 2012 Ford F-150 FX with the Texas temporary plate number 5192-J47.
Investigators are hoping someone seeing the photos will recognize the truck and call in tips as to where police can find the driver.
The people in the other vehicle involved were taken to the hospital in critical condition, and the pick-up driver didn't even bother to try to help them.
Police say the victims are a young couple, parents of an 8-year-old and a 2-year-old, who both remain in the hospital nearly a week after the crash.
Anyone with information regarding this offense is asked to contact Vehicle Crimes Detective Kenneth Watson at 972-504-5076.
Crime Stoppers will pay a reward for information given to Crime Stoppers that leads to the arrest and indictment for this felony offense and other felony offenses. Call Crime Stoppers at 214-373-TIPS (8477) or submit a tip online at P3tips.com, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
