DALLAS (1080 KRLD)- Thousands of North Texans have lost their lives due to COVID-19. Next week, the Dallas United Prayer Vigil at Klyde Warren Park will seek to remember those we've lost.

The event on Tuesday, April 6th at 6:30pm is in honor of first responders and those who have died from COVID-19. They’re asking families who have been impacted by COVID to join them as faith leaders pray for families, communities, first responders, caretakers, and those who have passed away.

Several local churches are involved including The Well Church, New Millennium Bible Fellowship Praise Center, The Life Church and King of Glory.

Families are encouraged to register and include the name of the loved one who is no longer with us. The vigil at Klyde Warren Park is open to the public. Cameras are welcome at the event. Masks and social distancing will be required.
