Prosecutors are getting ready to wrap up their murder case against accused serial killer Billy Chemirmir today.
The Dallas County District Attorney's office is expected to present more forensic testimony to link Billy Chemirmir to the home and crime scene of victim Kim Harris, whose home in North Dallas was not far from Chemirmir's apartment.
The jury has already been given a look at Mrs. Harris through the eyes of her son-in-law, Richard Reinhardt who described the Asian immigrant that had married an American businessman as "a hoot."
It was Reinhardt who police called to say they had found Mrs. Harris dead during a welfare check. But he said it wasn't until he went to her house that he realized it was a crime scene and her death was not from natural causes.
Reinhardt was able to identify jewelry that was found with Chemirmir as items Mrs. Harris wore nearly every day.
