Police in Prosper are looking for the man suspected of opening fire outside a home on Crestwood Drive on Wednesday, injuring one woman.
Officers got a 9-1-1 call from the home just before 8:30am on Wednesday. When they arrived, they found a woman in her car in the driveway of her home. She had been shot several times. She survived the attack and was taken to a hospital, where she is being treated for her injuries.
Police have named 56-year-old Dwayne Kevin Sharlow as the suspect in the shooting. They say he's the victim's boyfriend. They have a warrant for his arrest on charges of aggravated assault - family violence and violation of a protective order.
Investigators are asking people who live on Crestwood Drive and in the Glenbrooke Estates neighborhood to check their home security cameras for any video that could provide evidence in the case or help them locate Sharlow.
