Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice was released from the Dallas County Jail on Tuesday after serving a 30-day sentence for violating his probation.
Rice tested positive for THC, according to Dallas County court records, which violated his probation. The probation was in connection with the multi-car crash that Rice was involved in back in 2024 on Central Expressway in Dallas.
He pleaded guilty last year to two third-degree felony charges and was sentenced to 30 days in jail, five years of probation and ordered to pay the victims' medical expenses.
Court documents show Rice, who underwent knee surgery shortly before being booked, was allowed to visit Parkland Hospital in Dallas for rehab.
