In Allen the outlet mall remains closed as funeral plans move forward for the 8 victims gunned down in last Saturday's mass shooting.
Reports say the plan from mall operators is to remain closed until all funeral services have been held for the shooting victims "and the healing process has started," according to a Simon Property Group email.
While ownership will have the outlet mall property closed over the weekend retailers can access their stores tomorrow and then again on Monday.
Funeral services began yesterday for some of the victims, but it was not confirmed when the final services would be held.
Simon Property Group is also providing counselors on the property through this week to check on employees and provide help.
