The search continues this morning for the man suspected of shooting a Rhome police officer in the leg Sunday night.
Wise County Sheriff Lane Akin says the search for 43-year-old Royce Wood had been focused in the city of New Fairview.
Sheriff Akin says there is a $5,000 reward for information leading to Wood's capture.
The officer who was shot was released from the hospital yesterday and continues to recover from home. He is expected to make a full recovery.
