RICHARDSON (1080 KRLD)- The Richardson man killed in a crash this week has now been identified.
The Dallas County Medical Examiner says 74-year-old Nurus Safa Chowdhury died at the scene of the crash at Prestonwood Drive and South Sherman.
Tuesday afternoon, police found two SUVs had smashed into one another in the intersection. One of the SUVs burst into flame and the driver and a passenger were pulled out by witnesses even before first responders got there.
One of them was Chowdhury. The other was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Police have not said which driver was to blame.
