
BIRDVILLE (1080 KRLD)- Another threat was made at a North Texas school Monday afternoon however it ended up being a trick.
Birdville ISD placed Richland High School on lockdown around 1:15 Monday afternoon after some sort of threat was reported to 911.
The district said the campus would stay in lockdown while police investigate, which means no one can come in or out.
However after police started investigating, evidence showed that the call was fake and there were active threat at the school. North Richland Hills PD posted an update of their investigation. They also reminded the community that reporting a false threat to a school is a crime.
Police say they are continuing the investigation to see where the threat came from.
