It will be life in prison for Mark Allan Miller, the Rowlett man convicted of raping a seven-year-old girl three years ago.
Police were called to the victim's home and found the girl's father holding Miller at gunpoint. The girl's mother told police Miller was a family friend and had sexually assaulted their daughter in her bedroom.
Investigators soon learned Miller had recorded himself committing the rape.
Last year, Miller pleaded guilty in a child porn case and was already serving 60 years in federal prison.
This latest state prison sentence will be served concurrently. But since there is seldom any parole from federal sentences, Miller would be in his mid-90s when the federal sentence is completed, assuming he made parole on the state sentence.
