The case dates from mid-January when three family members including a 14-year-old girl, her mom and her aunt were shot at Rowlett's Twin Star Park.

Detectives believe a meeting had been set up to discuss a school fight involving the 14-year-old and another teenage girl. But police say a 16-year-old boy named Kenn'taevien Butler opened fire and wounded the victims.

Butler dropped out of sight but now detectives believe he may be in Kansas City.

Kenn’taevien Charvez Butler is described as a tan-skinned, black male with dark hair, and black eyes, approximately 5'10" in height, and weighing around 170 pounds.

The victims survived their wounds so the charges against Butler are aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and police have warrants on those charges in Butler's name.

There's also a $5,000 reward offered by the North Texas Crime Commission.
