
ROYSE CITY (1080 KRLD)- Following several car burglaries, Royse City police have recovered more than $100,000 dollars worth of stolen tools.
Several car burglaries have taken place over the last two weeks in residential areas from the Rustic Meadow neighborhood to areas south of Interstate 30 along Erby Campbell Road. Detectives were able to track down a truck they believe was used in the thefts to a residence.
With a search warrant, they found tools and equipment along with a heavy-duty excavator that was stolen out of Ellis County and a truck and vehicle parts stolen out of Dallas County.
Arrests were made. In total all the equipment was worth well over $100,000
