Sanger High School is temporarily closed because of a "spike in Covid-19 cases at the high school campus."

In a letter to parents, Superintendent Tommy Hunter calls this an "abundance of caution."

The high school will remain closed today and tomorrow for a deep cleaning with students expected to continue their learning online.

Hunter says the high school is the only campus in the district to be closed.
