Seems North Texas can't get enough of Santa, so Santa's Village will open for an extra day this holiday season. In Richardson, this year's Santa's Village shut down last weekend, December 11th was supposed to be the final day of the holiday celebration.
But because the rainy weather has kept many families away, organizers decided to open for one more day this year. Santa's Village will be open this Saturday night from 6 to 9 p.m. The village has been moved to Huffhines Park located at 300 N Plano Rd in Richardson this year because of the fire at city hall in August. The village is a little smaller with fewer cottages to check out.
Families have been celebrating the holidays at Santa's Village for over 30 years. Admission and parking are free.
