A second child has died from a horrible Kaufman County crash involving an SUV and a go-kart carrying six children.
One child, a seven-year-old, was killed at the scene on a rural stretch of FM 2727 about three miles outside of Kaufman.
Five other children were taken to Children's Medical Center in Dallas where a second child, a 12-year-old, died Sunday.
The remaining four remain under treatment.
The go-kart carrying the six kids -- ranging in age from six to twelve -- went straight into an intersection on 2727 and collided with the SUV.
Police cannot yet say why six children were riding on one go-kart.
