They are coming from miles away and waiting hours in line to see his front lawn.
Jesse Gonzalez' home in Haltom City has become quite the attraction after he created a Christmas light show display honoring the late Tejano Singer-- Selena.
From the rooftop to the sidewalk, thousands of small led lights and hundreds of cords and cable make up an incredible choreographed light show to a compilation of the Tejano Queen's hit songs. The less than two minute show even includes footage from her concerts and sound bites of several interviews.
Since 2012, Jesse has created elaborate video game-themed displays for kids to enjoy each holiday season. This year his wife gave him the idea to create something that both adults and children can enjoy. He says she told him since it has been a rough year, and a lot of people are out of a job, having a music icon like Selena be the feature, could really brighten their spirits.
The display has been a massive success. He says now he might start picking a different music icon each year.
