DENTON (1080 KRLD)- Two Denton fire engines are damaged after getting hit by a semi, and one might be considered a total loss.
The crash happened late last night when officials say a semi truck barreled into the two engines, hit a median and flipped onto its side. Robert Fleniken, with Denton Fire, says there’s a message here:
"Slow down. Move over." Fleniken says. "It's the law in Texas. If you fail to move over or slow down, you could get a ticket."
The semi truck driver was rushed to the hospital with a serious head injury, no word on his current condition. The firefighter suffered minor injuries and has been released.
