Seven Dallas teenagers are up on charges after crashing a stolen pick-up truck into a school bus Monday afternoon.
Police reports say the teenagers carjacked a truck but police quickly got on their tail. The chase ended in Buckner Terrace where the stolen truck slammed first into an SUV towing a trailer and then the school bus which was not carrying any children.
After that, the out-of-control pick-up crashed and rolled into a parking lot near Buckner and Samuell Boulevard. The truck came to rest on its top and then the doors popped open and one teenage boy after another came piling out, seven in all.
They all split up and ran for it but it only took a little while for Dallas police to chase them down and slap the handcuffs on them.
All seven were treated for minor injuries and so was the driver of the SUV.
The bus driver was checked out at the scene but was not hurt. The list of charges is not yet complete.
