Several buildings on TCU campus temporarily evacuated due to reported gas leak, all clear issued

Several buildings on the TCU campus in Fort Worth were evacuated because of a gas leak Monday morning.

According to reports, a gas leak prompted the temporary evacuation of several buildings including Jarvis, Ed Landreth, Foster, and Waits Halls.

The university issued an all-clear for the campus and affected buildings shortly after noon on Monday.

According to the campus newspaper, TCU 360, faculty were notified in an email that Atmos Energy would be making repairs to a gas line behind Jarvis Hall.
