With Thanksgiving -- and its traditional family gatherings -- behind us, doctors are now waiting to see if the celebrations will turn into Coronavirus super-spreader events.
Hospitals are already stretched. Doctor Gary Bonacquisti -- chief medical officer at Texas Health Resources in Rockwall -- says they have only 60 licensed beds. And, as of yesterday, they were treating 39 Coronavirus patients.
Of their six ICU beds, five hold Coronavirus patients. He says those numbers put a big strain on their personnel -- like respiratory therapists, nurses and hospital technicians.
