Some students in Dallas and Fort Worth are back in classrooms today, many for the first time in more than than 6 months.
In Fort Worth, students who choose in person learning in pre-K, kindergarten, first, sixth and ninth grade students, as well as self-contained special education classes, are back in classrooms today.
Some 7th grade students are also returning.
In Dallas, more than half of the districts students are back for in-person learning.
Today is the day any student who decided on in person can return to campus.
Dallas ISD leaders say about 53 percent of students opted to return in person.
