
A verbal altercation in a Sonic drive-thru was allegedly the catalyst for the violent death of a worker at the location.
Daniel Shrewsbury, 33, was shot by a customer of the restaurant who Shrewsbury accused of trying to use counterfeit money to pay for their order.
Shrewsbury was declared dead at the restaurant.
“Once my brother went out there and confronted them about the fake money, he got shot,” Shrewsbury’s younger brother Jojo Shrewsbury told KSAT. “He was a real good brother, not just to me but everybody.”
The San Antonio Police Department released photos on their Facebook page of two suspects in this incident, both female. One is seen wearing a black T-shirt and gold chain and the other a white sundress adorned by a floral pattern.
The names of the suspects have not been released, and no arrests have been made as of yet.
