One of three people shot near Fair Park over the weekend has now died meaning an additional charge of murder has been filed against suspect Lawanda Williams.
Police reports say the victims were shot early Saturday morning as they were leaving a concert at the Cotton Bowl in Fair Park.
Police learned the first victim had been quarreling with Williams and they say Williams shot her. In the process, gunshots also struck two people waiting for a ride and who were not part of quarrel.
All three victims were taken to the hospital and one has now died.
Arrested Saturday, Williams was up on three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Her bond was $75,000 on each count. But now, the bond on the new murder charge has been set at $1-million.
