Southlake police arrest a water polo coach accused of sexually assaulting a child.

Police issued warrants for 26-year-old Adrian Maher and arrested him at his home in Roanoke Wednesday night. He was booked into the Keller Jail and has since been transferred to the Tarrant County Jail.

Police say he worked for a private water polo club, and that's where the abuse happened. He was fired after the allegations were made.

Detectives are asking parents with kids who may have interacted with Maher to reach out to Detective Roberson at (817) 748 - 8235.

Police are not telling us the name of the club, the age of the victim, or what led to the investigation but say Maher is arrested for aggravated sex assault, indecency with a child, and online solicitation of a minor.
