Police SWAT training is of course, serious business. But the Southlake SWAT team is trying to keep it light today.
Southlake DPS says the last time they trained with flash bangs or other explosive devices, it frightened people. So, they're trying not to use the word "explosives," calling it the e-word instead.
And someone at Southlake DPS must be a fan of Will I am, Fergie, Taboo and Apl.de.ap because they refer to the Black Eyed Peas, saying "you might hear some "Boom Boom Pow" today.
Or, if you're in the executive suite, you might call it something like "Energetic Breaching" around Sunshine Lane.
They stress it will be loud but there's nothing to worry about.
