Calling all North Texas cowgirls! There's a special ladies event happening this Friday, Sept. 8 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Fort Worth Stockyards (2501 Rodeo Plaza, Fort Worth, TX 76164).
Ladies Night at John Wayne: An American Experience will take the afternoon to celebrate fashion, fun and the cowgirl lifestyle with its inaugural event.
The Duke's daughter and granddaughters will be there to meet fans and even sign books. Marisa Wayne is the daughter of The Duke. She joined Kristin Diaz and David Rancken on the KRLD Afternoon News to talk about what guests can expect.
Ladies night admission is free, but there will be merchandise on sale for purchase. Tickets to the exhibit are $22.95 for adults, $20.95 for military, students and seniors with ID, and $17.95 for kids ages 6-15 at johnwayneae.com. Children five and younger are admitted for free.
