There is plenty of new entertainment for fair-goers at this year's State Fair of Texas which opens late next week.
State Fair of Texas President Mitchell Glieber tells KRLD's David Johnson that besides the new food options there will be plenty of things that people who go every year have not seen before.
"We have a great line up on our Main Stage, we have several new shows that will be happening across the grounds, and of course the new Auto Show," Glieber said.
Glieber says while set up is complete, now they have the vendors come in.
There are new security features at the fair this year including a clear bag policy.
The State Fair of Texas opens next Friday and runs through October 19th.
