Several North Texas communities have substantial damage to clean up from Wednesday's storms that pushed through.
In Wise County, Runaway Bay police chief Stephen Reynolds reports they had one home that has severe damage from the strong winds. Another structure's roof was heavily damaged and many others lost shingles. Several trees were toppled and fences were blown down.
The storms caused some damage in Cooke County communities like Munster, Lindsay and Gainesville.
Near Munster, a chimney toppled onto a home and numerous trees were knocked over in Lindsay.
North of Gainesville, on I-35, a big rig was dumped over on its side by the straight-line winds.
