The clean-up begins in parts of North Texas following a major weekend storm.
Heavy weather rocked Dallas-Fort Worth Sunday afternoon, leaving a trail of debris, damage and frayed nerves.
Wind gusts of nearly 50 miles-an-hour were recorded at Dallas Love Field.
Winds took down trees and tree limbs which, in turn, took down power lines.
At the peak, Oncor reported nearly 10,000 outages -- about half in Dallas County and half in Tarrant County. By this morning, that number was below 2,000.
In East Oak Cliff, near I-45 and Illinois, an apartment complex saw roof damage on several buildings.
An apartment complex on Harwood Road in North Richland Hills was also damaged by the winds which peeled the bricks off the façade of one building.
There was a brief ground stop at DFW Airport but no major delays are reported this morning.
