A substitute teacher has been fired and now arrested after allowing students to fight one another at Kimbrough Middle School in Mesquite.

A district spokeswoman identified the substitute as Natally Garcia and confirmed over the weekend she had been fired.

On Monday, Garcia, 24, was arrested and charged with four counts of endangering a child.

NBC 5 reports the fight was caught on video and and posted to social media. The video shows desks in the classroom pushed back so students had room to fight. Some students were later seen bleeding.

There has been no word from Mequite school officials on when the fights happened, but the teacher was fired last Thursday.

It has been determined by investigators that Garcia's conduct put four students in danger of being hurt.
