A shooting victim has died and the accused killer is locked up after gunfire erupted at a homeless encampment in South Dallas on Tuesday.
Police reports say the male victim was shot multiple times underneath the I-45 overpass near Good Latimer and Al Lipscomb Way, about a mile from Fair Park.
The victim was taken to the hospital but his life could not be saved.
Dallas police taped off the homeless camp to gather clues and to speak with potential witnesses. Detectives arrested a man named Bradley Eakin who was arrested and charged with murder.
