The motive is still unknown in yesterday's mass shooting at a cabinet warehouse in Bryan, Texas that left one person dead and four others critically wounded.
Bryan police say they are now holding and have identified the suspect as 27- year-old Larry Bollin. He has been charged with murder in the death of one person at Kent Moore Cabinets in Bryan. He is being held on a $1 million bond. More charges are pending.
Officials say Bollin was known to employees at the warehouse, or he might have been an employee himself.
Several other employees were wounded in the shooting along with a DPS trooper who was shot in Grimes County and seriously wounded while pursuing Bollin. Officials say the trooper is in serious but stable condition.
“This is the first incident like this in the city that I’m aware of,” said Bryan Police Chief Eric Buske.
Buske said the suspect used a handgun in the shooting. Witnesses have described that the shootings appeared targeted.
