FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD)- Fort Worth police have identified someone in the hit-and-run that injured a child over the weekend but they're saying little about it because their suspect is a juvenile.
Saturday, an eight-year-old boy was riding his bike on Strong Avenue near Highway 287 in southeast Fort Worth. Suddenly, a driver ran the boy down and just kept going.
The boy's mother says he's still in the hospital with serious injuries.
Monday night, Fort Worth police announced they have identified the driver but did not say what charges, if any, had been filed.
