A road rage shooting suspect is locked up in Tarrant County where shots were fired just before 9 p.m. Monday on the Northwest Loop 820 service road near Navajo Trail.
Police say even though at least one shot was fired, causing a crash, no one was hit by the gunfire.
The victim tells Fort Worth police that he was eating at a restaurant along Loop 820 and got into a dispute with another customer. The victim then left, got in his car and drove off. But the attacker followed in his car and when he caught up, he opened fire.
The target of the shot was not struck but, apparently distracted, he collided with a car heading south on Navajo. Neither driver was hurt in the collision.
The gunman kept going but police tracked him down and was hauled in for questioning.
