A man Plano police describe as a "serial burglar" has been captured and is charged in a string of break-ins dating back to at least November.

Jorge Delarosa-Rodriguez is locked up in the Collin County jail.

Plano PD says this all started with two November burglaries at a townhome complex in East Plano. In December, there was another one.

Residents supplied security videos showing the burglar but he could not be identified.

Then, this month, it happened again. Four times. All of the burglaries were in the same part of East Plano.

Eventually, police developed a lead directing them to a motel room in the same neighborhood.

Detectives got their search warrant and went in to find some of the stolen property. And, with that, they arrested Delarosa-Rodriguez.
