FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - A suspected serial killer is indicted for capital murder.
A Tarrant County grand jury Monday handed down the indictment against Jason Thornburg, 41.
Thornburg is accused of luring David Lueras, Lauren Phillips, and Maricruz Mathis to his room at the Mid City Inn in Euless and killing them during, according to Thornburg, a biblical sacrifice.
Investigators say Thornburg slashed the throats of two and strangled the other.
The bodies of all three were found inside a burning dumpster in Fort Worth in September.
