Texas State Rep. James Talarico is speaking out about an endorsement this week from a former defense attorney for Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton in the U.S. Senate race.
The attorney who represented Paxton during his impeachment trial endorsed Talarico over his former client.
Talarico, speaking with KRLD and the Texas State Network, says so many people have turned against Paxton over corruption accusations.
"Ken Paxton's own staff reported him to the FBI, his own party impeached him for abuse of office," Talarico said. "And, now his own attorney is endorsing me in the U.S. Senate race."
Talarico added that he believes the people that are closest to Paxton think he is unfit for office.

Paxton did say after winning the republican runoff that Talarico is the most extreme radical ever nominated by the democrats.
