The Tarrant Appraisal District's (TAD) website remains down this morning following a cyber attack last week.
TAD Board members are set to decide how to deal with a ransomware attack. "TAD" says it's reported the issue to the FBI and is working with cybersecurity experts.
The district's website, which was just revamped after previous problems, has been offline since Thursday. It's often used by property owners and realtors.
There has been no word from officials on how much money the hackers may be demanding, or if the voluminous information on every piece of property in Tarrant County is safe.
