Following a water main break on the northside of Fort Worth that called for many residents to boil their water before use, officials say the water is now safe.
Around noon Tuesday, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality says all required water quality tests have passed and the boil water notice issued for portions of near northside and along the north shore of Lake Worth has been lifted.
Officials say the water is now safe for drinking and normal use.
The boil water notice was triggered because a water main break forced water pressure to drop below the minimum state requirement.
