The man first charged with abducting a four-year-old boy found dead in the middle of a Dallas street has now been charged with murder.
Last month, 4-year-old Cash Gernon was found stabbed to death near his southwest Dallas home. Police quickly arrested an 18-year-old named Darriynn Brown for kidnapping after home security video showed him abducting the boy from his bed.
Brown is being held on that and other charges for the past month.
Now, he's been officially charged with capital murder because Dallas police received lab test results implicating Brown.
