An 18-year-old is injured after a sled accident on Monday in the Kaufman County community of Elmo -- just east of Terrell.
The crash happened Monday afternoon off Farm-to-Market Road 2728 near Interstate 20, the Elmo Fire Department told KRLD's media partner NBCDFW.com.
According to a post from the Elmo Fire Department, a medical helicopter responded to the area to transport the teen. The department urged caution, saying many people in the area were sledding.
The department did not provide an immediate update to the teen's condition. No other injuries were reported.
