A Temple child is missing and an AMBER Alert has been activated.

Temple police believe 7-year-old Kryslee Hernandez was abducted by her mother, Amanda Guerra.

This all began late Tuesday afternoon when some homeowners reported a strange car parked in their driveway. They supplied surveillance video showing a girl and an adult woman walking into some woods near the home.

Police ran the plates on the car and determined it belongs to Guerra.

Temple PD brought in a drone, a helicopter and police dog units with numerous officers on the ground. They scoured the woods overnight but, so far, they've had no luck.

Kryslee is described as being 3 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 65 pounds. Guerra is 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds.
