Also, Texas A&M Corpus Christi lost to the tournaments overall #1 seed Alabama 96-to-75.
Two Texas teams won their opening round games.
Houston beat Northern Kentucky 63-52 and the Texas Longhorns beat Colgate 81-61.
This afternoon third seed Baylor plays 14th seed UC Santa Barbara in the South Regional. And tonight 6th seed TCU plays 11th seed Arizona State in the West.
