The disastrous wildfires that have killed more than 50 people in Hawaii have also destroyed more than a thousand structures. But Texans are already on-scene in work boots.
There is so much that will need to be done to get Hawaiians back on their feet and the Texas Baptist Men are pitching in with people already on the ground.
But they'll need materials and supplies to do their job and because of the 3,700 miles between here and the islands, it would be daunting and expensive to ship everything from North Texas.
Texas Baptist Men have long standing partners to send in aid including food, diapers and other supplies and need cash donations to buy in bulk and get the most bang for the buck.
