The Texas Economy is picking up steam in its recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The state added more than 55,000 new jobs last month.
Bars, restaurants, and hotels led the way in hiring.
The June numbers show over 908,000 Texans remain unemployed.
That is 75% more than before the pandemic.
