A man from Cooke County, Texas has been indicted by a federal grand jury for traveling to the Philippines to have sex with a child.
A federal indictment says 68-year old David Woods of Lake Kiowa has made multiple trips to the Philippines for sexual hookups with a young girl.
The indictment accuses Woods of using his laptop, cell phone and social media accounts to lure the young girl into the relationship.
According to the court papers, Woods first came to the attention of US Customs agents when he returned to the US through DFW Airport from a months-long overseas trip.
Then, according to the indictment, he returned to the Philippines and flew back to the US last week, landing in Houston where he was arrested.
The penalty for international child exploitation is 10 years to life in federal prison.
