The next presidential election is a little more than a year away and the Texas Rangers are doing their part to help get out the vote.

Tonight and tomorrow night as the Rangers open a very important homestand, the team is holding a voter registration drive.

John Blake with the Texas Rangers says the voter registration booth will be located near the southwest entrance behind Section 116, and it will be open from when the doors open until the end of the second inning.

HeadCount representatives are deputized to collect voter registration forms from 15 counties in North Texas. People who live in other counties can get important information on how to register to vote in their communities.
