The Texas Rangers have been asked to investigate the death of a man locked up in Collin County over the weekend.
The Sheriff's Office confirms that a Frisco man named Marvin D. Scott died in the jail in McKinney on Sunday.
Scott had been arrested by Allen police but the charges have not been made public.
A news statement from the Sheriff's Office says seven detention employees have been placed on administrative leave.
