The Texas Senate has approved a bill that would expand the state's medical marijuana program to include all forms of PTSD and cancer.

Official say the bill also increases the THC limit from 0.5 percent to a full 1 percent for qualified patients.

However the Texas House has approved a different version so a conference committee needs to work out a final proposal.

It's unclear if the bill will make it to Governor Abbott's desk before the end of this legislative session which ends next Monday, May 31st - Memorial Day.
